VCSE Representation on the D2N2 LEP Board and ESIF Sub Committee: CALL FOR REPRESENTATION

D2N2 Local Enterprise Partnership is seeking to recruit a new representative from the Voluntary, Community & Social Enterprise Sectors to ensure that the views of ‘civil society’ remain central to the LEP’s decision making.   One East Midlands will conduct this recruitment process in an open and transparent manner on behalf of D2N2.  


Let's Talk Good Finance East Midlands 24/4/17

Following demand raised at the recent Life Chances Fund Information Event, Big Society Capital is working with One East Midlands and the Department for Culture, Media and Sport to bring their Let's Talk Good Finance events to the East Midlands.  The event is in Nottingham on the afternoon of the 24th April. These events aim to demystify social investment and enable organisations to share their experiences.

This event takes a positive look at the direction of youth policy in England and opens up initiatives. With an outward facing focus on what has and is working well and on engagement, we aim to encourage moving forward with confidence in young people's ability to develop.

D2N2 Active Engagement Officer appointed

The D2N2 LEP is pleased to welcome a familiar face, Rachel Quinn, into the role of Active Engagement Officer for the D2N2 Local Enterprise Partnership.  The role, jointly managed by One East Midlands, will promote and support the active engagement of the voluntary, community sector and social enterprise organisations in the work of D2N2.


Better Data: Making the third sector business case for health improvement

The Better Data agenda was developed in conjunction with Public Health England and Regional Voices delivery partner One East Midlands to help third sector organisations use publicly available data sources. In the current financial climate the need for organisations to demonstrate their worth to commissioners has never been greater.
