Disclosure and Barring Service guidance

Volunteering England has published an information sheet on Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) checks (formerly CRB checks).

The guidance, which is aimed at volunteers and volunteer involving organisations and relates to the disclosure and barring system as it currently exists, aims to help organisations determine whether a check is required and how to obtain one.
