One East Midlands ERDF Reach & Impact project is delighted to work in partnership with Shoosmiths LLP to deliver this free morning briefing on state aid specifically for the VCS and funding advisers to the sector operating in the East Midlands.

Sarah Livestro, Senior Associate at Shoosmiths LLP, will deliver this briefing, which will cover: 

  • An overview of what state aid rules are and what delegates need to be aware of in order to comply with the rules state aid if applying for European Regional Development Funding (ERDF);
  • Some of the pitfalls if you don’t consider the issue of state aid; and
  • Any updates on any State aid changes in legislation.

Please note we do not intend for this briefing to provide advice to delegates about their own state aid issues as they would need to seek their own legal advice. This briefing provides an overview as to what state aid is and to provide information on how to comply with state aid rules.
