East European Roma - Cultural Awareness Training

Taking place on Tuesday 3 February at Nottingham Conference Centre this event will enable delegates to immerse themselves in Roma culture for a day, find out the do’s and don’ts for engaging with East European Roma communities, and bring along their own practice issues to trouble-shoot with the trainers.

Aimed at those who work with or expect to be working with Roma families from Eastern Europe, delegates will receive advice on this CPD accredited Cultural Awareness Training Day, delivered by the longest established Roma community organisation in the UK, the Roma Support Group.

The trainers will be available during breaks to talk on a one-to-one basis, and will specifically address issues that delegates want to raise.

The training will also include a session on safeguarding children, young people and adults and delegates will receive an information pack, CPD certificate, lunch and refreshments.
