Sporting Equals, which aims to promote greater involvement by all communities that are disengaged, especially the BME population, in sport and physical activity, has stated that it is essential that the strategies and plans of sport organisations and regional bodies targeted with engaging BME groups in sport and improving health outcomes adapt to the changing face of the population.
