Know your local economy to..... Access EU funding – Post event page

The Reach & Impact project ran two half day workshops on Tuesday 5 November in Derby, designed to help VCS organisations, funding/support advisers and development workers start to prepare and think about how they may take advantage of opportunities in the EU Structural and Investment Funds 2014-20 programme.

Local Enterprise Partnerships

Local Enterprise Partnerships have a rapidly expanding role in driving the local economic growth agenda. From 2014 this role will include developing investment strategies for European Structural Funds investment in business growth, skills, inclusion and rural development.

Taking place on Wednesday 11 September at Nottinghamshire Deaf Society, this free event focused on providing funding advisors’ with the skills and knowledge to better support VCS organisations who have innovative projects to developing and contributing to the local economy and who may be eligible for ERDF funding or other European Funding streams.

One East Midlands, through the ERDF Reach & Impact project in partnership with local infrastructure organisations, hosted a series of free county events throughout July and August 2013 to enable stronger and productive relationships between the VCS and LEPs.

One East Midlands and BIG Assist hosted a joint event, on Wednesday 26 June in Leicester, for Local Infrastructure Organisations across the East Midlands to look at the future direction and new opportunities for local infrastructure.

The Reach & Impact project knows that the world of ERDF, Structural Funds, European Funding and the European Union in general is full of initials, abbreviations and language that may be new to the voluntary and community sector. This is why we have set up this online jargon buster.

ERDF Local Opportunity Events March 2013 - Post Events Page

During March 2013, the ERDF Reach and Impact Project organised a series of workshops across Derbyshire, Leicestershire, Lincolnshire and Nottinghamshire to support potential collaborative ERDF projects in the priority areas of each county that organisations were interested in taking forward through the ERDF challenge fund, or through the new proposed EU structural funds programme 2014/20.

EMFAN Local Network Event 11 December 2012 - Post Event Page
