East Midlands LETB five year workforce strategy

The NHS East Midlands Local Education Training Board (LETB) have shared their five year Workforce Strategy.

The strategy:

  • provides the context and national strategic frameworks within which the LETB is working
  • focuses on articulating the capacity, capability and behaviours required in our present and future workforce to achieve our goal
  • sets out the underpinning enablers essential for delivery.

In addition the LETB has published their Workforce Development and Education Investment Plan for 2013/14, which identifies the key workforce priorities for the East Midlands and how the Board will deliver these through its functions in the coming year. The plan includes the workforce development plan, the education commissioning plan and the investment plan.
