Improving the patient experience in hospital and community health settings

CSV and NAVSM are working together to promote the services provided by volunteers within hospital and community health settings, by producing good practice guidance.

They would like to invite partners involved in community health settings to attend one of their workshops in either London on Monday 18 November from 11am to 3.30pm or Birmingham on Tuesday 19 November from 11am to 3.30pm to help them put the good practice guidance together.

The workshops will reflect on learning from the Frances Report and the recent research carried out by the Kings Fund on Volunteering in Health and Social care.

They will include discussions on existing and new volunteer roles and how they can be developed and grown; ways of improving impact measurement; integrated care and the role of volunteers; and examples of current good practices.

If you are interested in attending contact Mandy James at mjames@csv.org.uk or Emma Thomas-Hancock at ethomashancock@csv.org.uk.
