Public Health England Wellbeing and Mental Health National Summit

This Wellbeing and Mental Health National Summit, taking place on Thursday 6 March from 9.30am to 3.20pm in Birmingham, will bring together colleagues working across the new public health system, including those working in local authorities, Public Health England centres, the NHS and the VCS.

Especially informative for those organisations involved in planning, commissioning and providing public mental health programmes and services, the aim of the free event is to:

  • Highlight why mental health and wellbeing is a priority for the new public health system;
  • Introduce Public Health England’s national work on wellbeing and mental health and their developing framework and action plan;
  • Influence work on key topics, including intelligence and evidence, children and young people, employment and working life, premature mortality and suicide prevention; and
  • Hear from others about the work they are doing to help improve the public's mental health
