Public Health Minister’s Award

Jane Ellison, the Minister for Public Health, has established the Public Health Minister’s Award as part of the Royal Society for Public Health’s public health awards scheme.

The theme for the award’s first year will be workplace health, with the award recognising organisations that have developed innovative approaches to improving the health of their workforce and families.

They are looking for organisations to nominate projects and services that address significant health and wellbeing issues that affect their workforce. If you know of, or work somewhere, that is committed to improving its employees’ health encourage them to apply.

To judge the nominations, Professor David Walker, Deputy Chief Medical Officer, will chair an expert panel with a range of experience across public health, business and the public sector.
