Listen Value Invest 2012 - Case study request

One East Midlands continues to support the Listen Value Invest, a North West campaign, aiming to highlight the real and current issues faced by the VCS and the wider communities it serves. As part of this, we are looking for case studies of VCS organisations in the East Midlands and how they are adjusting to the new climate. 2012 will be a challenging year for the VCS, with continued significant reductions in public spending, proposals for public service reform and a de-centralisation of power from a central to a local level. The scale and speed of spending cuts is having a significant impact on the VCS and the communities it serves and supports. In the current climate, the principles of the original campaign, asking decision-makers in your area to commit to real action to listen to, value and invest in the VCS is as important as ever. As part of our support for the campaign in the East Midlands, we would like you to submit your ideas for Listen Value Invest case studies about your organisations' work and how it is adjusting to the new climate. We are particularly interested in how you are managing currently and if you are working in new ways or with new partners to deliver your services. To submit a case study idea, email a 100 word outline to information@one-em.org.uk.
