Patients/carers/public voice representatives who are currently volunteering in the NHS Patient representatives in roles that receive an honorarium from the NHS are also eligible to apply for these courses. The courses are delivered online for people to access at a time convenient to them.

Postcode Community Trust support marginalised groups access skills and resources to affect change in their communities. The focus for 2017 year is on grass-roots community sport, arts, recreation, physical and mental health projects

The East Midlands Leadership Academy and Academic Health Science Network Patient Leadership Programme: Training for ‘patient leadership’ is rare.  This course is aimed at patients, carers and public contributors, already involved with the healthcare system who want like to enhance their knowledge and skills in ‘patient leadership.’ You need to be nominated by a health and care organisation.
