Charity consortia support toolkit launched

Acevo, the Association of Chief Executives of Voluntary Organisations, in partnership with Neil Coulson Associates, have launched the Consortia Support initiative, a toolkit to assist VCS organisations with forming consortia. The toolkit is a seven-stage guide taking organisations from the initial stage of forming consortia through to consolidation and expansion.

One East Midlands re-launches membership scheme

One East Midlands, which support the voices of VCS organisations to shape change in the region, has re-launched its membership scheme, increasing membership benefits, reducing membership categories and introducing paid membership to organisations with paid employees. Benefits of the new membership scheme, which ranges in cost from free for volunteer led organisations up to £100 for private and statutory organisations, include:

March Match Fund at Localgiving.com

From 9am on 1 March, the localgiving.com March Match Fund will match all donations made to charities in England until their fund of £375,000 is allocated.

Free legal advice for not-for-profit organisations

Operated by LawWorks, a national charity committed to increasing the delivery of free legal advice to individuals and communities in need, Initial Electronic Advice (IEA) aims to assist not-for-profit organisations by providing free answers from qualified solicitors to their legal questions.
